The Arizona Fire players have been keeping busy this off season by spreading joy to the kids at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
“Visiting the kids was a great experience. It was awesome seeing their faces glow when we walked in. You could tell this meant a lot to them,” stated Jordan Beverly.
Fire forward Giuseppe Ferace also enjoyed the chance to visit with some kids. “It touched my heart to see how something as little as playing a few games with them made a difference in their everyday routine," he said. "I feel blessed to have been part of this experience.”
“There is more to soccer than just a game. We are role models, mentors and members of this community. We strive to be the very best overall, not only on the field, but in our community” stated Arizona Fire President, Alex Esquivias. “We are thankful that we can work with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to bring joy to these kids.”
The Fire will begin pre-season workouts as they get ready to start their season. Please visit www.arizonafirefc.com and Arizona Fire FC social media for news and updates.
